Restaurante Mistral — Restaurant in Barcelona

This place is nicely situated close to the red bus tour stop, also very close to Park Guell. We missed our bus and had 15-20 minutes to waste so decided on a quick snack. The waitress was very welcoming, the restaurant is a good size with lots of tables. The menu was simple, we got the Calamari and Potato Bravas with a cheese&omelette sandwich. Food was served quick. The sandwich was hot and nice, potatos were fresh. The sauces were mayonnaise and a spicy ketchup which wasn't great unfortunately. The Calamari was on the chewy side also. We initially went in to use the toilet after a long bus journey, we always had the intentions to get a drink or food before heading to Park Guell but the Owner was quick off the mark explaining toilets are only for customers. He was quite right as his establishment probably gets used for this all the time. It’s no where fancy but the beers were good, the gentleman was friendly and gave great service and the sandwiches cost less then a meal deal back home and were lovely. We stayed here whilst our bus came and sat outside and was lovely. Really chill not fancy and a bargain with a good owner!...

Bar/restaurant típic de barri amb menú migdia, entrepans, algunes tapes, refrescs, cervesa (poques), sucs... Per ubicació, a l'exterior cartes en anglès per captar clientela extrangera per ser zona de pas al parc Güell i bus turístic corresponent. Local de tota la vida, propietari simpaticot, va per feina i és resolutiu. Disposen de dos televisions, a cada extrem del local, el punt negatiu es que el só sempre és extremadament fluix. ( personalment... Si no pots gaudir de la TV, no la tinguis). Local net i suficientment ampli. Sense aire condicionat (o jo no he sabut veure), tampoc serviria de res, la majoria de finestres sempre són obertes. El poc que es pot observar com a client de la cuina... Neta, cuiner eficient i ràpid, organitzat. Preus.... Diguem_ne correctes, tot i que un pèl més baixos serien genials. Als voltants hi ha altres propostes. Tot i això... En general.... Li posaria un 6'75 sobre 10 en la meva...
