Oh my goodness, what a fantastic time with had with Romano!! He is the consumate professional sommelier and was great with our group! There were some in the group who were newer to wine and just wanted to learn a little and others like me who are into wine and wanted to learn a lot, and Romano was great with both groups.

We went to four different places for Tapas and wine and each had their own distinct vibe and approach to food and all the dishes and wine were amazing and paired exceptionally well!

What I especially enjoyed was that the tour did NOT go to touristy places, rather while still in the city center these are places you would probably not think of. The second place, Denassus was expecially awesome.

Also, when they described the tour a may not ending when it was over this was so true! My wife and I met up with Romano the next day and tasted some really special wines.

I would like to give a massive thank you to Javi for the excellent tour :) My wife and I wanted to get to know more about the lesser known Spanish wines and of course about the extraordinary food Barcelona is known for. The idea of having a sommelier explaining everything to you really enhanced our experience. The restaurants, the food and the wine selection was beyond our expectations and after doing many food tours in different cities in Europe, we were very pleased with this tour in specific and the experience overall. A must try for foodies and wine lovers around the globe ;) Next week we will be doing the tour in Porto, operated by the same company :)...
