Best restaurant in the area with great quality food (specially meats 🍖 and cold cuts), a nice wine 🍷 selection, good coffee ☕ and friendly and fast staff.
Tapas are good, but a bit pricy 💰 overall. However, everything is freshly cooked and the quality is really good. Also, the place is really good-looking, cosy and quiet in general, thought it gets quite busy and more noise at nights specially, but also some middays. However, one of the things I love that surprise me a lot about this place is that I have never ever seen kids 👶 in here, or at least not noisy/annoying ones!
They offer a lunch menu with really nice options from 10 to 20 euros, depending on your choices, as they always have some really good steak that cost around 5 euros more over the normal price, and sometimes also some other options, but believe me, those are always worth the extra money!
Also, there's one small table under the staircase to the mezzanine that is a bit more private and quiet, but don't tell anyone 😝 Keep in mind you will have to book it thought as it is usually taken or...
Read moreDefinitely worth a visit if you search for an authentic Barcelona atmosphere and want to have a cup of coffee or eat Catalan cuisine. The building is impressive. Also Sant Andreu as a district is so authentic and not destroyed by excessive tourism yet. Here is the history of Versailles: In the middle of the heart of the town, in the Plaza del Comerç and Carrer Gran de Sant Andreu, stands the building of Can Vidal, at the bottom of which there is the Bar Versalles. Can Vidal, located on land where previously there were houses on the ground floor plus the property, owned by Margarida Guardiola, was built at the request of the new owner, Francesc Guardiola - nephew of the mentioned Margarida, in 1907. According to the registry of the Urban Property: "Don Francisco Guardiola Jubany (...) has constructed under the direction of the architect Don Miguel Pascual (...) the new...
A mi m'esta costant i de moment, no he tornat.
