Ca l'Adela — Restaurant in Begur

We sat down at Sa Tunada Ca l’Adela hoping to have something to eat and drink. We ordered sangria and food. Only one sangria arrived, the second never came. When we tried to order food, the staff made gestures in Spanish indicating that we couldn’t eat. About 10 minutes later, another waiter came and told us that if we were not eating, they would give our drinks as take-away. I explained that we had actually ordered two sangrias 15 minutes earlier, but they only brought one. While we were still trying to ask about food, they aggressively told us to leave. I got upset and went inside to the counter. The second sangria had been poured into a plastic cup. I said I didn’t want to pay for it because we had been waiting 15 minutes, they hadn’t brought it, and now they were kicking us out. I told them we may not understand Spanish, but their attitude was extremely rude. One waiter who spoke a little English even said something like: “Then learn Spanish, otherwise don’t come.” In the end, they forced us to pay for two take-away sangrias and practically kicked us out. This place is in a very touristy area but clearly does not want tourists. If that’s the case, then only locals should go—tourists...

Really disappointed in the service, sat down at a table (restaurant wasn’t that busy) we were 3 and they kept removing one chair saying we couldn’t add a chair from another table…the way the waitress removed the chair twice was just aggressive and quite frankly unnecessary! Ended up leaving after being shouted at…if only you could give 0 stars. They only get away with it because there are limited places to...

Cuatro estudiantes entran al restaurante bajo reserva. Tenían un sueño: alimentarse. Todo empieza cuando al llamar para realizar la reserva se nos asegura que podemos pedir la fideuá en el momento. Al llegar, no tenían fideuá. Solo fideos a la cazuela. Fideuá caldosa (redflag numero 1). Sorpresa: pedimos 2 unidades de sangría de 1L: 40€, 20€ por sangría. 15 hielos. 7,5 hielos por sangría. Repito: 40€ DOS sangrías (redflag numero 2) Las bebidas no figuraban en la carta, tremenda estafa para 4 almas estudiantiles inocentes!!!! Finalmente pedimos un arroz seco 😔. Decidimos pedir un BOL de alioli: un BOL! El camarero contestó "¡Al toque!" y "al toque" sumó 2 pedazo de euros a la cuenta por un vaso de minichupito de alioli (vale menos un bote de 200mL en mercadona) (redflag numero 3) Total: al momento de pedir la cuenta observamos 3 cifras entre las cuales 40€ por dos sangrías y 2€ por un pedo de alioli (tuvimos que racionar las minicucharaditas entre 4) No hemos digerido la noticia. Son las 4:15 de la mañana. No puedo dormir pensando en ello. Fui YO a comer y me devoraron las ganas de vivir. La sangría deliciosa...
