Had the Sarsuela, alt sp. zarzuela, aka Catalan bouillabaise. It is a fish stew unlike bouillabaise which tends to be overly perfumed with herbs. This is the kind of seafood stew that you dream of. Large buttery whole squid, a transverse block of tuna, scampi, mussels, clams in stew redolent of the sea -pure umami. It makes you regret not being born Catalan and eating this day and night. We had a pleasant lunch here when we came down to the beach at around 11am. We were seated at a table in the back by the sand and enjoyed the scenery with coffees while waiting for them to begin serving hot food at about 12:30. There is a beautiful cliffside walk that starts down the beach from this location and though it was the off-season and therefore a bit chilly, we enjoyed our visit. Doy una estrella porque es lo minimo que se puede dar. Los camareros son muy agradables, pero la comida es horrible. Nos han servido unos mejillones a la marinera salados, y fe estilo marinero tienen bien poco. Estaban echos hacia al menos 4 horas. La salsa espesa, solo tomate y aceite. Hacia tanto que estaban reposados que estaba la salsa echa una pasta. Los chipirones eran correctos, dado que no hay ningun secreto para empanar y freir unos chipirones. De plato principal una fideua, la qual el precio ponia 15,50, no especificava por persona, como en otros arrozes de la carta, i al final a la cuenta nos querian cobrar 31 e de fideua. Una fideua recalentada al horno de aspecto negro, fideos que parecian una sopa, gambas peladas congeladas de super, sipia congelada (recordemos que estamos en la costa) y mejillones sin cascara iguales que los preparados de fideua del super de al lado de mi casa. Quando me he ido a quejar, me han dicho que voy de lista, que solo como fideua en mi casa y que no tengo ni idea. He comido muchas fideuas en mi vida, y he pagado siempre sim problema y dejando propina. En este caso he reclamado pagar solo lo que ponia en la carta y no he dejado ni un centimo de propina.
