Nestled in the captivating town of Begur, Platja Sa Riera is a beach that captivates visitors with its pristine beauty and tranquil atmosphere. With its clear waters, fine sands, picturesque cove setting, and nearby restaurants, it offers a serene and enjoyable beach experience for all.

The clear waters of Platja Sa Riera are a sight to behold. With their transparency, they invite swimmers and snorkelers to explore the underwater wonders that lie beneath. Whether you're wading in the shallows or taking a refreshing swim, the crystal-clear waters add an element of tranquility to your beach visit.

The sand at Platja Sa Riera strikes a perfect balance. It is thin enough to provide a comfortable and soft feel underfoot, yet not so fine that it becomes easily displaced by the wind. This makes it ideal for leisurely walks along the shore or simply relaxing on a beach towel, soaking up the sun.

What sets Platja Sa Riera apart is its unique setting within a charming creek adorned with traditional Catalan boats. The presence of these picturesque boats adds a touch of authenticity and local character to the beach. It's a visual delight and creates a sense of place that is truly enchanting.

For those looking to indulge in some local flavors, Platja Sa Riera has a selection of restaurants conveniently located nearby. After a day of sun and sand, you can treat yourself to a delicious meal featuring fresh seafood or traditional Catalan cuisine. The proximity of these dining options ensures that you can satisfy your cravings without straying too far from the beach.

In summary, Platja Sa Riera in Begur is a hidden treasure that offers a serene and picturesque beach experience. With its clear waters, inviting sands, scenic cove setting adorned with Catalan boats, and nearby restaurants, it promises a memorable day by the sea. Whether you're seeking relaxation, water activities, or culinary delights, Platja Sa Riera is a beach destination that...

Beautiful beach, with perfect sand. With a capacity of 1,200 people, we were lucky to see it with much less than that. It is more touristy than Fonda or Aiguablava, but still more intimate than Pals or others on the Costa Brava. There is a rental point (for umbrellas, chaiselongues and pedalos), many restaurants and tapas nearby (which usually close around midnight), a shop with products for the sea. I would recommend strolls by the shore beaches, especially those towards Pals. These are magnificent! And also to stay on the beach for the sunset, it's so calm...

Platja de Sa Riera is a small beach, with 100 meters of thin sand and no waves backed by the little town of Sa Riera and surrounded by hills to both sides. There are an additional 50 meter of coast, used for boats.

The beach is part is accesible from Platja de l'Illa Roja, through a beautiful and easy 15-minutes trail through the rocky coast.

The beach is wide, cozy and has a beautiful scenery with nice houses on top of the hills facing the sea. Shadow starts covering the beach early in the afternoon. Around 3 hours before sundown the beach is...

It is a very nice beach. Parking is not too far away from the beach. We loaded our things at the entrance of the beach and my husband found parking on the street 600 meters away. We came at 10:30am. If you come early you may find better parking. Family friendly, public restrooms and water sports rentals on the beach. Water is clear, sand is not the best but it doesn't hurt when you walk. Not overcrowded.

Comfortable and beautiful beach for all ages. Well organized and equipped with everything one would need: shower, bars and restaurants. The sand is very soft, the beach goes from low to high depths quite fast. You can do both, so some professional swimming as well as nice snorkeling (on the left side). There is a free parking (white spots/lanes) approx. 1km from the beach: Carrer de Sa Riera.
