A pretty and quaint little restaurant on the somewhat higher priced options out there. The food was good, although we did leave still feeling hungry, which you don't really want, especially for 40€ odd each guest
The day we chose, sadly, was a bit breezy, so not as comfortable as we would've liked, but they did offer to close the curtains and put the heating on. We were lucky though to have that option available, as not all tables do. Our elderly guest did find it difficult and uncomfortable to walk in the deep gravel, and their chair sank deep into it making them much lower at the table than they would've liked - and to the guests on the bench on the opposite. But they refused to sit on the bench 🥰
The service was very good and the waiters and chef were all very friendly, professional and it was a quick service too.
The food was nicely presented and all very good, so that made for a lovely family Sunday lunch, a bit different and special than the norm.
The restaurant is clean and nicely turned out for what there. They e done a great job and hope in time they're able to change the flooring.
We would recommend a visit, but perhaps make sure it's on a warmer and not a...
Read moreA delightful place with delicious food and good service. We took potluck and arrived early without a reservation. Luckily we secured a table in the sun and out of the wind so could enjoy the al fresco experience. Our waiter was prompt and courteous, even speaking some English for our benefit. The menu is varied with a healthy selection of rice based dishes as you would expect in this region. We had a salad and bread to start, both of which were delicious, the salsa with the bread was exceptional and the salad fresh and delicately flavoured, followed by the sepia tempura which was shared between 2 and a hamburger. Both were declared excellent and somewhat unique. We shared an apple tartin and the chocolate tart, and again, both were superb, all washed down with the house white wine from the Valencian region, which was perfect for lunch. A super spot for a truly superb lunch, we...
