We weren’t sure wether to go in, the place looked empty. You always have to ask yourself why? When other places are busy. The place looked like money had been spent on it, the place looked really good. There was another couple in so we bit the bullet.
We we’re seated and it took about 5 mins for anyone to take our drinks order. We ordered a red and white wine and a glass with ice. (I like ice in my wine). As normal they arrive at your table and “free pour” except the white, they emptied the bottle and didn’t get another to top up with. In my opinion I was short changed. Especially when my husbands red was a full measure and mine was at least 5mil lower in the glass. Ice had to be asked for a second time as it was not forthcoming.
It’s always me, I must have a “bite me” logo tattooed on my head. They eventually took our food order and when it arrived it looked lovely. Looks can be deceiving. The fries were few and looked like they had been fried hours previously. My husband to be fair really enjoyed his burger. Me not so much. I ordered a chicken burger. I asked for the slaw on the side and they obliged. However the meat in the burger was a chicken thigh, who puts thigh in a burger? You expect breast meat unless it’s stated on the menu. “Juicy chicken thigh” or some such wording. There was no warning it wasn’t breast meat. Just plonked down on the table. The fact it was thigh meat was bad enough but it wasn’t even trimmed. I spent my time fishing gristle and whatever else out of my mouth as delicately as I could.
To be honest it was not a pleasant experience. If you want chicken or a full measure of wine, swerve by and find somewhere...
Read more🚷🚷🚷🚷🚷 no recomendado!
