Oliveras Restaurant — Restaurant in Besalú

Pretty nice buffet in Besalú. This is not like a regular buffet. It is like a fancy restaurant but in a buffet form.

They have lots of options, from salad to soup, croquettes or lots of spanish ham, cheese...

There is a section for first plates, other for main plates and one for dessert. There is also a section for spanish ham, where there is a person serving it.

I had some salad mix with bread as entrance, then some potatoes with alioli, and the main plate, croquettes with a patata d'olot and some sauces. Then I had some strawberries with cream.

You can also have unlimited drinks, from water to wine or limonchelo...

The food quality was surprisingly good, compared to the usual self service buffet food.

Price on the website is 12.50 for a buffet lunch. However the price in the restaurant is 18 euros. I wonder why this is.

Food is great. A lot of dishes. Fish and meat was very good. However, the dishes should be warmer. Drinks: coke, aquarius, fanta, nestea, beer, wine, coffee, tea etc

Waitress was a bit slow with taking away the plates. Maybe because we sat in a corner of the restaurant.

All in all, we recommend the restaurant, but there is room for...

Buffet a l'alçada de les expectatives. L'indret és bonic i acollidor amb una terrassa a l'aire lliure i menjador interior.

Avui en dia servir un buffet per 18€ té molt de mèrit, però ens permet seleccionar diferents plats per molts gustos. Sabem que les elaboracions estan dissenyades perquè el negoci sigui rentable. Podem tastar plats que ens agradin més o menys i de diferents qualitats però per aquest preu no es pot demanar més, és un buffet.

No crec que repetim, ja que no sol ser el tipus d'establiment que solem visitar, però hem volgut provar-l'ho ja que ens l'han recomanat.

El servei és correcte y el local està net tot i la gran afluència de gent.

Ja sabem que en els buffets hi ha molt soroll i traspàs de gent, per tant si no t'agrada, no t'ho recomano.

Realment la qualitat no està tant malament com podria semblar, només és qüestió de provar diferents plats. La relació qualitat preu és bona o proporcional.

És més, tot i el preu si no fós per la gran afluència de gent tampoc seria un negoci rentable.

L'entorn està cuidat i aprop de Besalú.

En caps de setmana el preu és més alt, 29€. No sé si també augmenta l'oferta de plats i de qualitat o és la mateixa que els dies feiners.

Recomanable pels amants dels buffets: realment et pots atipar...
