TOTALE Ristorante Pizzería — Restaurant in Boadilla del Monte

The "new" Totale has horrible customer service. We basically helped pay for their fancy renovations by ordering pizzas every week back before they closed for renovations.

Now they finally reopen with their fancy new look, and they cant even manage to list the correct phone number on their own website, Google, or Facebook.To make matters worse the Totale Boadilla del Monte Facebook page lists a phone number that connects to a Totale store in a different location, so you get an unpleasant surprise when they answer the phone "Totale" and you place your order, but then when you go to pick up your pizzas, they arent there because you ordered them at a different store in a different city.

Apparently the owners want all service going through third party apps like Glovo and Just Eat (the only other people there picking up pizzas were Glovo drivers) and they dont care if they are wasting their customers time nor the time and resources of staff at the other store. I wanted delivery but I dont want to use third party apps. So I went out of my way to go pick the pizzas up, and then couldn't because the wrong store had my order.

The most ridiculous part was that the girl who "served" me when I showed up couldnt even tell me their phone number and she kept calling someone else to ask.

She was totally unapologetic and she laughed in my face when i was upset that their misinformation wasted my time and wanted to be compensated for their error by recieving a discount on my next order.

Its a shame because we like their pizzas and were looking forward to their reopening.

To the owners: If you are going to spend lots of time and money to make your store look pretty, then you should at least make it easy for your customers to call and order a pizza. And you should train your staff how to treat customers when it is apparent that an error on your side caused a bad customer experience.

As promised I continue with my honest, sometimes critical reviews on food serving establishments. For today I am pleased to share with you this experience of myself and my following. We were welcomed by a friendly lady that showed us our table and did a great job servings us during our stay. We had some different pizza, and tried various types of pizza dough that were new to me, for me personally the curcuma seasoned dough was the most delicious and outstanding one. The pizza are tasty and very well balanced in toppings. Reason for not giving a 5 stars today is a malfunctioning entrance door which created a rather shamefull feeling as I didn't notice when arriving so I found myself as an idiot waving to the sensor trying to get out to grab some air. The smile on the person's face helping me out only could make me come to the conclusion it was a rather funny sight for all to see, but yes indeed a less fortunate feeling for myself.

Further the food and service were very pleasant.

I used to absolutely love this pizza place—it was our friends and family go-to spot for unique, delicious pizza with options you couldn't find anywhere else. One of the things that made it so special was the creative choices of dough. Unfortunately, they recently changed the menu, and all those great options are gone I understand the need to refresh things, but I hope they consider bringing back some of the original options that long-time fans...
