We are local and have been to the restaurant multiple times since discovering it last October. The space is bright and modern and right on the beach. We have enjoyed some spectacular sunsets and beach scenes along with our dinner and drinks!
They have live music every other Saturday night, generally light jazz or bossa-nova - pleasant dinner music. We try to catch as many music nights now as we can.
The restaurant service has been extremely attentive every time. In particular, Ilyas always takes great care of us. The food has been absolutely on-point every time. My wife favors the Rodaballo (Turbot) and the Veal Tenderloin is my favorite. The appetizers are especially good and offer some great fusion options.
There's also a daily menu offering (first and second plate, drink, and desert or coffee) for midday meals. There's a sea of restaurants along the beach, but if you want reasonably upscale food and experience, this is where you go. We ordered several dishes - the burrata was off. When we first asked to replace it, the waitress did without questioning much. When the second burrata still had a very acid taste, the waitress did not apologize and did not want to take it off the bill. It took insisting to not pay for it, this attitude is not what I would expect from a restaurant if I receive food that had gone off. In the end, we didn’t pay for it and we received some free potatoes (which we didn’t want) but it ruined the overall experience. We...
Read moreWhen you dine by the sea, you expect to pay a bit more for the experience—but I didn’t expect such a disappointing fideuá and poor service. The dish was mostly a pile of overcooked pasta with a few slices of calamari and tiny, tasteless shrimp. To make things worse, the chicken we ordered was served undercooked. Although they replaced the dish for free, the staff didn’t seem particularly concerned or apologetic. I’d only recommend stopping here if you’re just looking to enjoy a cold beer with a sea view—definitely not...
