I walked past at lunchtime & the outside section seemed popular with the working man. So my wife and I popped in to find out about dinner. It was a set menu for 14€ but the waitress on duty couldn't tell us what was on the menu, claiming that the kitchen would only open at 19h30 at which point she could then tell us what was on the set menu for the day. Red flags... Unfortunately this too turned out to be false we returned at 19h30 only to be told the kitchen would only let them know by 08h00 we walked around the town and then came back. In retrospect what kind of kitchen doesn't know what they will be cooking at 19h30 for a set menu when they supposedly open at 19h30. Anyways school fees. Plus to make matters worse they have hidden costs that they'll hit you with at payment time, 2€ charged for an extra empty plate for example. The bread was stale. The chicken was actually very tasty and the no-name bottle of red surprisingly good easy drinking served at a very good temperature. The set menu is also 14€ as opposed to 13,50€ at O Encontro. Even if the price was more expensive at o encontro...Rather go to "O Encontro Gastrobar"...Better value meals. The set-menu is on a flyer and on their chalk boards way ahead of meal time, a little more fusion of cuisine options on offer for the less likely to favour local dishes. Fuimos a este restaurante recomendados por un albergue. Buscábamos comida casera y cosas de la tierra. Comimos una ración de pulpo y luego el menú del día. El pulpo estaba espectacular, muy tierno, jugoso, con mucho sabor... La única pega... Que por nosotros hubiera sido más cantidad y hubiéramos seguido comiendo 😜 El menú estaba delicioso. Pedimos una sopa de verduras, que estaba muy sabrosa y deliciosa, y albóndigas caseras, que estaban muy bien hechas, con una salsa muy rica. Estuvieron muy atentos en todo momento de nosotros y que no faltará nada. Sin duda es un muy buen restaurante y con cosas muy ricas. Si volvemos a ir por allí, iremos a comer a este restaurante y seguiremos probando otras cosas que no os...
