We visited here as our first meal of the Holliday. While it wasn’t bad, there are definitely other places that I would recommend more. It started off very well with a lovely jug of sangria sat outside in the sun and the staff were all very lovely and inviting. We then had fried calamari which were nice, however I had one full of sand which completely put me off and chicken croquettes which were much better. They had a beautiful flavour and were crispy on the outside. We then ordered Patatas Bravas, Beef Ribs and Whitebait. The Bravas were lovely and crispy, however, due to my partner feeling ill (nothing to do with our restaurant experience) the Whitebait was not tried. I did however try the beef ribs, something I have never had before. While the flavour was lovely and the portion size was good, I did find them very chewy and not very pleasant. This being said I have never tried beef ribs before so maybe this is how they are supposed to be. However, while the service was polite, it was notably slow, with extended waits between courses that detracted from the overall experience.
Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The Patatas Bravas, a dish I was particularly looking forward to, were disappointing. The potatoes were heavy and greasy, with an unpleasantly strong smell of old oil. The roasted chicken was another letdown—overcooked to the point of being dry, and excessively salty. As for the grilled sea bass, it lacked the fresh, delicate flavor I anticipated and instead tasted as though it had been fried in oil.

The lamb pieces were only bone and fat, probably some left overs. Beef short ribs were raw, uncooked, likely alive. Sausage was mostly fat and few bits of meat inside. Rabbit and chicken were decent. When we call the attention of the waitress he was trying to convince us that is cooked and usually people like it like this, however he never asked how we like the meat, he said he can bring to kitchen to cook it more.
