Frankfurt La Riera — Restaurant in Calella

The drinks had very generous amount of alcohol in it, they were good. The service was good. I don’t know why they think tourists want to eat canned tuna dumped on a salad, or plain Frankfurt sausage and cheese stuck in bread when traveling to Spain. Lasagna and cannelloni were overcooked, the meat in cannelloni was shredded, not minced, the sauce didn’t taste like tomatoes or basil at all. The waiter said that the only thing on the menu that is frozen is fish and chips, but I doubt that because the sea food really smelled (also from the tables around us). There is just a lack of knowledge on cooking basics in this place (devaining the shrimp, washing muscles of sand etc.). The pictures on the menu and the concept of the menu is disgusting. I don’t think they have any idea on what Europeans really eat and how high the quality of food is in rest of the Europe, no idea on what is good presentation of food either. I would rather have five, fresh well cooked seafood dishes on the menu than twenty very badly cooked European dishes. They have no pride or identity, this restaurant is just a cash...

The food was great at a reasonable price. We had a truly wonderful dining experience at your restaurant! I visited with my wife and son, and from the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the cozy ambiance and the welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional, making us feel at home right away.

We ordered the steak, hot dog, and a variety of grilled items—and every single dish exceeded our expectations. The steak was perfectly cooked to our preference, juicy and full of flavor. The hot dog had a delicious snap and was clearly made with quality ingredients. As for the grills, they were nothing short of exceptional—beautifully seasoned, tender, and served with care.

My son, who can be a bit picky, loved every bite—especially the hot dog, which he’s been talking about ever since! It’s not often that all three of us leave a restaurant equally satisfied, but your team nailed it.

I do not recommend 👎 this restaurant if you want some real delicious and quality food. I tried this restaurant about 5 times with different orders and unfortunately the food is tasteless. The reason I go to the restaurant is because they are open at night when most restaurants around are closed. I tried paella 🥘, beef steak 🥩, fish 🐠 and ship meal, Apple 🥧, Crema, Irish Coffee ☕, Beer 🍺.

And guiss what? All tastes below average.👎

I think they are smart in marketing and attracting people. For example they make their BBQ area and the meat 🍖 🥓 beside the side Walk instead of being inside the kitchen, So that people can see the meat and the grilling!.

It's always good to play smart 🤓 but make sure you are also honest and interested in making some good delicious quality...
