Chipotlín — Restaurant in Calella

Well, on first look, so kind witer and also owner, who said tht he is really Mexican. After we ask him to order for to go, and short conversation, in restaurant, walk in one more couple, and owner said that our order will be ready in 20minutes (19:51 placed). That was sound good, and we are come back, at 20:15, when he said that food coming in 2 minutes. After 10 more minutes of waiting, we ask him when we can expect order, because train comming in 7 minutes, and next one we have in 45, after that. He said, that food comming right now, but unfortunately, we was siting couple more minutes, when we definitely realized that we can't catch the train. Kindly ask their employees, to serve food for dining in becouse we miss the train. He walk out from the kitchen, after 2 minutes with bag and to go boxes-the agony continues. Then explain to him, thatwe miss the train, and that I alredy ask for serving on the plates. Whatever, after that we waiting prepred food, to be served 10 more minutes, until 20:48. Waiter/owner bring to us one by one dish, although we order everything in the same time. We talking about 2 prtion of tacos and quesadilla (almost 60 minutes) One prtion of tacos was 5/10-just onion and meat Second portin 0/10 -Langue tacos, stinck, although that smell should be eliminated during preparation. -also no sauces Quesadilla con cactus 6/10,not bad, but tortilla was doughy-not crispy, and cactus was so savory.

Great service at the beginning, with amazing frozen margaritas, however then it became super authenticly slow and went down hill. Some how messed up the drinks order from the beginning, and the next drinks order. Food came out at crazy random times, at least an hour after ordering. Everything came out 20 minutes apart and everything was super salty, no spice, no freshness and the chicken was comically white with no seasoning (remarkable for how salty it was) Look, I don't like to complain but this was a must. The waiter/manager then made every excuse possible. There was a big table 😭 bro, you have a capacity for a resteraunt deal with it, one big tavel should not send the rest of the place into chaos, it's standard and not my problem you should be able to desk with it. Upon saying the food was bad, we got told it was standard Mexican food, which to be honest (look I'm English and, yes you may think I don't know but I do) is an embarrassing excuse and a shame. What an amazing little Mexican, tucked in a quiet side street in calella. The staff may not speak English but we were made very welcome, and when I tried out my rudimentary Spanish phrases to make an effort you could see it was appreciated.

We expressed how delicious the pastor tacquitos were and we were recommended the cochinita pilbil tacquitos, and they did not disappoint.

I cook Mexican food at home, regularly using Chipotles, adobo sauce and all manner of authentic ingredients, and Anyone who knows good Mexican food, this is good Mexican food. And for the quality the price is great.
