La Tetera — Restaurant in Calella

Came across this restaurant as my family and i was walking through the town. We were greeted by very friendly staff and taken to a table at the rear of the premises inside a large gazebo/awning as my mother in law smoked. It was very nicely laid out, the staff had a good knowledge of English so it was easy to order. The food was lovely and well presented the drinks were too our liking and the prices surprisingly reasonable. We would definitely return there when we holiday...

Definitely recommend popping in here to have a drink (and food if you're hungry)

My wife and I popped in here for a drink randomly while wandering around, they have a nice wee selection of liquors (see pic)

Oscar served us and was very welcoming, chatty and friendly behind the bar.

C'est la première fois de mon séjour que j'ai affaire à une scène de racisme ordinaire envers les touristes ! D'habitude, j'ai affaire à des gens souriants et de bonne volonté. J'ai pris une place dans un coin sur la terrasse de ce bar-restaurant, le serveur (un homme barbu) est passé devant moi avec une expression nettement antipathique. Je n'ai pas tout de suite relevé, innocent vacancier que je suis... Lorsque j'ai passé ma commande pour un café au lait avec un croissant, il m'a répondu (toujours en me fusillant du regard) que les cafés sont servis à l'intérieur (dans un couloir exiguë qui fait office d'étuve pour tout ce qui n'est pas "clientèle espagnole", voire catalane). Je suggère au propriétaire de mettre un panneau visible sur sa façade, en français, anglais, allemand, hollandais et tout autre pays qu'il ne supporte pas... que cet établissement est strictement réservé aux "locaux".
