Stopped by for a family dinner after having read the reviews of this being a place favored by the locals. Indeed, we did not see any other tourists in there and it felt like we did get some looks from the other folks in the restaurant. The waiter at the end even asked us how we ended up at this place? The waiter also did not feel too enthusiastic initially and the service was really slow. Waited for our seafood paella and swordfish and sea-bass for an hour. Best tapas we had in Calpe. The fried calamari were light and crisp, the stuffed mussels were full of flavor and the chicken was delicious. The staff was so attentive and kind. They let us and another family watch the Euro semi-finals and closed the doors so that the place doesn't fill...

Essen macht glücklich! Wenn Du hier speisen gehst, empfindest Du genau das. Alles hausgemacht, eine top Qualität! Kein Chichi, nur lecker und frisch. Hier kannst Du noch die frischen Köpfe der Garnelen schlürfen. Die meisten Kunden sind Spanier oder internationale Stammkunden. Wer sich hierhin einmal verirrt hat, kommt wieder. Eine ganz tolle familiäre Atmosphäre. Ein tolles Serviceteam! Hat ein bisschen was von Palmas Markthallte, ohne Markt. Hier gibt es vom Juniorchef, auch noch Hintergrundwissen zur Paella des "reichen" Mannes. Einfach köstlich!
