In summary, the Residencia Terra de Mar Calpe was delightful for us, and we would not hesitate to stay again. "We" is a family of four. We stayed for a week, had two rooms, #7 and #8 which were side-by-side. Both had balconies, which are narrow but useful for enjoying one's cafe and taking in the feel of Calpe. Decorations are Eastern inspired. We enjoyed many evenings in the "roof" terrace. Across the way is a man who keeps pigeons - entertaining! Tea and wine are complementary. Read moreResidencial Terra de Mar Calpe. What a hidden jem. We booked last minute as we wanted a cheap overnight stay in Calpe, close to old town. Location is perfect and easy reach of the town centre either by foot (down the hill) or bus if you can't walk. We stayed in room 8,which was cosy and had all the amenities we needed. We arrived early and rang the number at reception for English hoping to drop off our overnight bag. The young girl who answered came to meet us and checked us in early. She was very very good, showed us our room and roof terrace which is really nice and explained everything. Each room is themed, and very well done.we opted for the breakfast for a total of €69 for both of us.They even put complementary wine out at night for you. Breakfast was more than I expected, with a selection of cerial, yogurt, bread, cheese, salami, boiled egg, fresh orange juice, nuts, cakes, pate, coffee, toast, and a very attentive server. All in all a very good experience, and highly recommend as an...

Safe in room, minibar (although fridge didn't seem to be working) free water, tea / coffee - drinks and pastry on arrival and relaxed atmosphere.||For the price paid this is an excellent deal, and Ani our host was really nice and smiley - very helpful. Shower and toilet included but no bath||Good location as easy to access bars / restaurants / beach within walking distance. Fairly quiet street except for church bell which was automated at certain times.||Only let down by bed - very uncomfortable and squeeky. Overall though, really...
