Havana’s Beach Club Calpe — Restaurant in Calp

Went for Sunday lunch, English based. Roast beef, etc. Service was great, friendly and efficient. Food was hot and presented well. Only criticism.. The vegetables were very much undercooked, more than al dente, also it was a vast amount, 6 items and so we left quite a bit. My wife had apple crumble.... Not good, needs improvement plus the custard was like hot milk... We spoke to a member of staff, constructively discussed the issues in a friendly manner. He was very happy to listen and said they would take it on board. Will definitely go back as overall the food was good. The Colina Club is a retirement community here in Calpe and we take our residents for lunch every month. A big thank you to Havanas Beach Club for a wonderful lunch. All our residents really enjoyed the meal and love the facility, (which is never easy to do). Some of out residents have difficulty walking up stairs, but the staff made access so easy with the stair lift. A big thank you to your staff for making the day so pleasant. Handling a large group such as ourselves is never easy but you made it all go so smoothly. You have a fantastic crew working there. We were staying about 25 minutes drive away in a family villa which didn't have a pool so when I discovered this place I thought it would be good for the kids to have a splash about and it didn't disappoint. The pool was freezing due to the time of year (last week of October) but that didn't stop my children going in. I had a lovely refreshing aperol spritz and a very strong pornstar martini. Enjoyed lying on the sun loungers and admiring the lovely view. We didn't eat there as we'd already planned to go somewhere else but the kids had fish and chips which included a drink and they enjoyed it.
