I wanted to get tapas for dinner at least one night and heard (and read) this place was good, further evidence was that it was always busy despite being out of the way of the central point in Santa Ponça. We tried to get a table for one night but there were no tables free due to capacity in the kitchen so we booked for the following night and I'm glad we did because a few people were turned away as they arrived without a reservation.

The waiters were prompt with the menus, drinks and food, but it was very difficult to get the bill and then the card machine, altogether we waited 25 minutes. Appreciate that it's relaxed but I expect when you ask for something you'll get it relatively quickly and not stand around chatting.

I ordered a sprite and the waitress looked confused and asked a few times 'sprite?' 'is that all?' and this made me a bit uncomfortable, as I felt she judged me that I wasn't drinking alcohol...

The food was nice and enjoyed everything we ordered, with good portion sizes for a good price. The food also came...

We opted for Tapas y Más because it looked like the most traditional fayre i could find in Santa Ponşa & we like to eat the local delicacies wherever we go. I recommend booking ahead as the waitress looked rather sour as I walked in & requested a table for 3, a glamorous leopard skin draped lady quickly emerged and graciously seated us on the terrace, I was hoping to sit indoors as it was 32° and as much as I love the sunshine, I prefer to eat and drink in the shade, luckily just before our food arrived the sun set a little and I could take my shades off to enjoy seeing what we were about to sample. The waiter that served us was extremely polite & friendly. We chose this establishment because of the excellent reviews on Google & the food didn't disappoint. The grilled prawns are a must & the padron peppers were so deliciously cooked & everything well seasoned. We only sampled the menu but we will definitely be returning...

Like Cous Cous, so nice we went back twice! 1. Firstly the service from 'Nico and Gutti' (apologies if these are spelt wrong gents) was friendly, welcoming, funny and knowledgeable! They kept us entertained whilst serving the food and drink at a perfect pace! They recommended their favourites on the menu and also recognised us like friends when me and my fiance went back a second time! True gents of the customer service world 2. The food, oh my days the food!! Even the bread and olives were the best I've had, never mind the mains and deserts! I truly believe anything on that menu would be perfect every bite Honestly, this restaurant is a little gem on a little island! One of THE best restaurants I've ever been too!! We would have gone back a 3rd time if we had the time! From Tom & Hannaha
