Santa Ponsa in Majorca is a terrific place to visit with your family for a holiday. The beach is fine sand gently sloping into the sea so its great for kids too. There are many organised coach trips on offer but I would recommend the one which takes you to Puerto Soller through the mountains and return via the electric tram and train. Before you go on holiday use Google search for public transport around the island. Excellent bus services provide reasonably priced transport around the island though if you are a wheelchair user you can have difficulty finding a suitable bus with a free wheelchair space. Most hotel staff and sales assistants speak good English and in our case went above and beyond to be helpful. I'd certainly consider returning...
