Ave Del Mar — Restaurant in Camariñas

We chose here to have an afternoon snack, a quarter slice of tortilla de patata, a plate with a few slices of tomato with oil, a small bowl of bread and 2 glasses of house red wine. Nothing flash and the quality was average. I went in to pay and a gentleman from our the back priced the bill at 17 euros! Having spent much time all over Spain I had the distinct impression that I was being taken for a tourist fool. My husband (who has a grasp of basic Spanish) came in and questioned why the bill was so high without success, so we walked outside and questioned the woman who served us, who reviewed the bill and refunded us a couple of Euros, which was better than nothing. I am posting this review to warn others using this establishment to be aware of what the price is of items before ordering as you may be badly surprised of...

We came to the restaurant for a lunch and at first the nice lady working there said the kitchen was closed and tried to show us which other restaurants are open but a moment later she saw we were hungry and disappointed, she showed us everthing there was in the kitchen (since we don't speak Spanish), and in the end we had a really nice lunch, coffees, desert and few more drinks there! We really appreciated her welcoming attitude and improvisation to feed us. Also it was a place with a nice atmosphere and a good value...

Me faltan estrellas para calificar este hotel y al personal de este, ya que ha sido nuestro hogar durante una semana para mi prometido y nuestro perrito. La atención por parte del personal del hotel nos ha hecho sentir como en casa. Sobretodo agradecer a Diana la atención cercana y profesional en todo momento que incluso nos falicitó un mapa de la zona que ella misma imprimió y señalo lugares deliciosos para visitar, y Paloma que estuvo atenta a todas nuestras necesidades y no le falto detalle alguno para con nosotros . La relación calidad precio inmejorable, ya que ofrecen productos de la zona frescos diariamente, con unas elaboraciones caseras que no os podéis perder . La habitación una fantasía,Con vistas al puerto y un aura cálida y hogareña. La localización de este es perfecta ya que está cerca de muchos puntos de interés turístico. Sinceramente no sé me ocurre mejor lugar para desconectar de la rutina y conectar contigo mism@ qué un lugar donde te sientas como en casa pero lejos de cualquier estrés, estamos deseando...
