First, you must visit Canet de Mar, less than an hour train ride from Barcelona. It has nice, friendly people and a picturesque uncrowded beach and great food! We were there to tour the Castell de Santa Florentina, also a must see. Our tour guide, Jorge, recommended 6Q and so we went. So glad we did! The restaurant is gorgeous with exquisite stained glass, ornate doors and original wood floors. So awesome to sip wine and gaze at the unique surroundings. As an appetizer we ordered mussels which were delicious and a wonderful start to a deeply satisfying meal. Then we had the traditional paella, because what else will you have steps from the beach in Spain! Again, absolutely buenísimo! It had plenty of seafood and the rice and seasonings were perfect. We enjoyed a quick chat with our wonderful server who told us the restaurant used to be a private home and was designed by the same architect as the castle! It was a delightful experience to have an excellent meal in such a beautiful slice of history. Highly recommend!
