We’ve been coming to this part of Spain for the last 30 years because of family living here. Yesterday we stopt at this restaurant for a drink and returned today because one of our favourite walks crosses this village. As it was lunch time we decided to get some lunch as well: and this couldn’t be a better decision!

The location is perfect, the staff is perfect, funny and down to earth (speaking a bit of Spanish helps, but they do speak English as well). So the only extra thing you wish for is the quality of the food. We were really amazed! It’s really culinary, something you don’t always find in the Spanish cuisine. Besides the quality and taste of the dishes the presentation is amazing as well!

If you ever find yourself in this lovely village or want to eat at an amazing place! Call, make a reservation and have the lunch/dinner...

A late lunch awaited us at this restaurant in the heart of Canillas Malaga. Rustic interior leads to open cafe like seating area & terrace. We sat on the terrace n October sunshine. Drinks were brought quickly together with a complimentary stew like dish with a basket of bread wolfed down as we were all hungry. We had the fish soup & Gambas Pil Pil sizzling in its oily sauce. So nice I mopped up the residue with the fresh bread. Our mains came soon after impeccably served & presented - Ribs lamb chops swordfish & a white fish were our groups choice & the conversation stopped as we all tucked in - So tasty hard to describe. Too full for dessert apart from coffee. What a delicious meal on a terrace with wonderful views across the campo to the sea. Well...

We were over from the UK staying in a local villa. Our friends recommended this place so we thought it deserved a try. It was a quiet Wednesday evening and from the outside it looked like a cafe/bar. We went out onto the terrace and the view was lovely. I didn’t fancy much on the main menu but they went to the trouble of making one of their starters into a main. We had a follow up dessert which was delicious. The waiter made the evening - really professional, attentive and provided us with extras including a free after dinner liqueur. Would definitely go back and would...
