Cucum Beach House — Restaurant in Capdepera

Only giving 1 star because the food was actually nice. On the other hand the service here is actually awful, I’ve never experienced anything like it. We reserved a sunbed for 1pm and got there at the 12.55 and weren’t seated till 1.10pm. The lady took 10 minutes to bring a menu over and said “I’ll give you 2 minutes and then I’ll come back to order some drinks” again another 15 minutes before we were seen to. Ordered our drinks and food which came pretty quick, iced coffees tasted awful but the food was nice. After this they didn’t interact with us atall, we ate our food and decided to go in the sea for abit as it was so hot there and when we came back our empty plates were still there with flies all around them. After we said about this they very quickly took plates away. Not once was we approached with asking if we wanted to order anymore drinks whilst everyone around us was still getting served continuously. I genuinely would not recommend this place to anyone, you get ignored here and looked down upon and will probably have to go to the shop next door just to buy a bottle of water because it’s so hot but can’t get anyone’s attention like we had to. We ended up leaving before our slot was up just because we honestly felt really unwelcome and I didn’t want to give them another penny of my money. Served once in 3.5 hours is actually disgusting. Do not go here would not recommend to anyone who’s looking for a beach club nearby this area. Worst €75 ever spent...

I don't normally leave any reviews, but I feel really bad seeing how the employees behave ! The restaurant is located in a beautiful place close to the beach, the food was not to my taste, the biggest problem is the staff who show racism towards other people, their behavior leaves much to be desired, very bad on their part, after you go to their restaurant with pleasure to eat and feel good with your money and you have a very bad welcome, They make a difference between Spaniards and tourists, you have to wait to be seated, we waited for a table to become available, a lady told us to wait , in the meantime a group of Spaniards came and seated them the Lady who say us to wait , very ugly., I do not recommend this restaurant at all, the other two are more ok. ( I'll answer you here, yes I saw that you can make an appointment on the website, but those people were also a couple, they came and asked about a free table and the lady who was seating people sat them directly at the table, and they were Spanish, I understood what they said, and the lady spoke badly about other people at another table, she said, clear the table of an employee there because look at them, they can't sit at this table, they want to move, she expressed herself very badly, please don't find excuses for employees...

Something has gone wrong since we came in 2022 and 2023. Staff has changed- we see them in other restaurants now. It is almost like our custom is inconvenient, there is no welcome. We tried to book a table for the family. We were told to do it online so a reservation payment would be made. We asked if we could pay while we were there so we were sure we had a table; this was refused. The tataki, which was excellent came without the usual wasabi. We asked for it, after waiting 10 mins I got it myself from the chef. The desserts were served 10 mins apart. They were sitting on the pass while the staff chatted, the chef kept ringing his bell. We were charged for bread and aioli never received- this was rectified All very disappointing. A shame to see it empty at 9pm but if you can’t raise a smile for paying guests and provide the basics of service, then people go elsewhere. Toilets- some without working lock , no toilet paper…. Food is excellent- kitchen is excellent, the setting is beautiful....
