I’ve never done a review before but I feel obliged to for this place as there is a need for everyone to know about. This is my favourite place on the planet to eat. Mich and Alex look after you like family. We go here as much as we can when we go to La Manga. The food is spectacular. The variety of flavours and unfamiliar dishes incredible. I have seen several people entering apprehensively as they see food they may not have tried before but every time I see these cases, they always love it. Last night, there were two of these groups, one of them being a family with fussy eaters and both groups sent their compliments to the chef, one of them even said it was the best food they ever had. The cocktails are amazing, the best you will get in Spain and Mich always tailors them to your taste and preference. Every time we go back here, the food and cocktails get better. Which is crazy because every time they are both 10/10. Reading this back, it may seem a bit OTT but I seriously can’t stress enough how good this place is. The epitome of a hidden gem. You cannot possibly be disappointed....

Halloumi with a hint of honey and citrus and the cabbage with that smooth hazelnut taste and a miso dressing with jamon iberico.
Every dish comes with an explanation as to what you're eating and where it comes from.
This is an amazing place where we will have to return to taste the main dishes and...

The owners are fabulous and the service was incredible. We left feeling like we had just had dinner with old friends. They approach their food with such adventurous fun and you can taste it with every bite. You can tell that they really love experimenting to find the perfect flavours.
We often utilise the flavour profiles used at Gimlet in our own cooking, like mixing different types of spice (gochujang, sriracha, harissa) together to add dimension and it has elevated our cooking. They inspired us to experiment with flavour.
To say Gimlet left an impression on us would be an understatement!! You must visit if you...
