Restaurante Cañonero — Restaurant in Cartagena

Great food and been many times but cannot cook steak. I ordered a medium rare steak and as you can see from the picture the steak is blue. I still ate the steak as it was a very nice piece of meat although had to drink more wine to wash it down, however, when sending back to be recooked it completely ruins the steak so decided to persevere with the blue steak. Not sure why a chef can get this so wrong. Disappointing as we love the restaurant but won’t be back...

Have been many times to the previous establishment. Always fantastic. Great food. Now they are in a better location and bigger premises. Absolutely amazing. We went last night as they agreed to serve us after a late arrival at the club (11pm!) and loved everything about Cañonero. The food was stunning and the staff were some of the nicest we've ever met, really good natured and good fun! We'll certainly be back his week, I'd imagine more than once or twice!
