What an absolute disgrace! I thought I’d try somewhere new for a takeaway and boy do I regret it! It was the worst Indian meal I’ve had in years and I’ve had a lot! My lamb madras was the most tasteless curry I can remember and had no depth or flavour whatsoever. Vegetable birriani was just as bad. The onion bhaji struck me as probably being bought in and mass produced, probably cooked from frozen. I ordered Bombay aloo and got Saag aloo, no problem I like saag aloo but this was an absolute abomination! A few small pieces of potato in a sea of spinach gunge that looked like something the cat brought up! Thoroughly vile! I foolishly ordered enough to warm up another day but ended up throwing it all in the bin. I should have read the signs - there were precisely zero diners or takeaway customers during my 20 minute visit....

Poppadums were stale and the sauces tasted artificial, and the main meal had only 4 small cubes of chicken, for 10€! The interior felt like the inside of a decorated garage; uninviting, gloomy, and stacks of chairs, tables and boxes in one corner. I understand that this is not high season right now, however the lack of quality in the food is really the reason for this review. The two stars are for the attentive service...
Read moreWhat a difference a year makes. They are under new management and the chef had left :( The waiter was very nice but the food was diabolical and not suprisingly there was no-one else in there. I doubt this will be open next year. Such a shame. See my old review.
