Excellent location next to the sea but I should have listened to other reviewers. To describe the treatment we received I might as well copy paste all the other bad reviews into this one.

A powerful way to make your restaurant shine is to focus on customer service.

You won’t shine by having a totally desinterested main waiter/chief of staff with goatee (barba de chivo) who barely welcomes you and who leaves you waiting while mostly just hanging around, mysteriously scouring the horizon/beach for potentially life threatening dangers that might spring up, demonstrating no trustworthy sense of situational awareness that enhanced any level of safety on our side whatsoever.

At the same time he carefully avoided any eye contact but expertly gave us a feeling that he couldn’t care less about us being there. To be fair, I must admit that we were not attacked by pirates the whole time we were there.

The service at this restaurant falls below any normal guest’s expectations in more than one way. They should get professional staff that care about their clients and love their job.

Price of food ordered : SALTEADO DE ALMEJAS Y GAMBAS CON AJETES Y PIÑONES (17€) 4 ZAMBURIÑAS A LA PLANCHA (11.20€) MIX DE CROQUETAS CASERAS (6pc) (9€)

Price relation to quality : score 2.5/5 View/location 5/5 Cleanliness to be improved (cigaret buds & lots of rubbish under surrounding tables) Service (not crowded) 1/5 Feeling welcome 0/5 Goatee 4,5/5 Pirate...

Thought I would try this restaurant as we could not get into Bonaboo next door! The restaurant always looks busy and lively with a good music feel. We booked a table for 4pm and arrived in time. Staff showed us to what seemed a local workforce area away from paying punters next to the bar in the corner and nobody puts my babies in the corner. Ordered drinks which arrived okay. On ordering food this is where the service dramatically declined and the British were a forgotten entity!!! Food was ordered and I was hopeful as the menu description was enticing. After the third different staff member arrived with a dish that I haven’t ordered my first dish of clams arrived. They were fine and were finished. The next plate arrived after 10 mins and was satisfactory. The sardines never arrived and after a further 30 mins the rest of the plates arrived. Being sat in a bar area away from the beach indoors meant we wanted to get bill and go. Asked for bill in Spanish twice from two different servers and waited a further 10 mins. Left sufficient amount of money what I thought was acceptable and walked out. Maybe it was a one off for the restaurant but if you are planning a special occasion here then maybe think again or if you are British and can’t complain effectively then try somewhere else. Very...

Really bad experience in this restaurant. I came with my friends on Sunday to have lunch. Location and views are great but all the rest, made the whole experience a disaster. To shorten the story, the pizza we ordered took around an hour to come when the rest of the people had eaten and when we asked for the bill, we got one from the table next to us, which was less then ours. We paid without looking at the bill and when we were leaving the restaurant, the waiter followed us as if we hadn’t paid at all. We came back and even though we said it was their mistake, we were asked to pay the difference, which is fair. We called the manager and asked him whether we could get a compensation for the delay getting the food (which was the difference in between both bills) and we were told in a very rude way that we had eaten the pizza even if it was one hour late and therefore we had to pay for it. The manager was rude and disrespectful, the way he talked to us was harsh and unkind and when we paid and left, I mentioned I was going to leave a review on Google and he shouted at us saying, yes of course, go and do it!

Service, in general, was awful. Manager and waiters have to be changed for me to come back to this place. Food is ok but not something that will make me eat again in either...

Stumbled upon this place as we were walking by and decided to grab few drinks. Terrible service, waved for a good 15 minutes before waiter decided to attend us. There were more than 4 waiters just standing around doing nothing and the entire place was empty. We felt almost as though we were being discriminated because we were with some older people. Place has a beautiful view of the sea with huts to chill but be warned to have youngsters lingering by the area, drinking drinks of their own (not bought from the bar) and dancing to loud music (from their own boombox radio). We were well aware that it's a hot place for youngsters, but just felt that the management could have done something to pick up on customer service and figure ways to ensure people (non-customers) don't linger by the front of the store and giving such disruptions (smoking, drinking, chattering).

Service is mediocre at best..... but the Mai Tai is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. If you are not in a rush, and just want to have a good time and maybe a few drinks. UPDATE: food is pretty terrible. But they are open in the winter in La Manga. So one of the only beachfront spots still open. That is popular. Really good drinks. Some stuff is friendly, some staff is not. Incredibly slow service as always. They just need to figure out how to have waiters own and work their tables. They seems to have no order or direction on who does what, and that is slowing down service. Different people bring you your food each time and different people bring drinks. They seem a little confused. If they can fix that, the service would be much faster.
