Diwan Kebab — Restaurant in Castelldefels

We ordered a salad, 2 doner kebabs, 2 coffees, and baklava. There was clearly an issue with the salad, as we waited 30 minutes for our order while watching newly arrived guests get their meals before us. The salad came completely unseasoned – just chopped vegetables without salt, pepper, or olive oil. The table next to us apparently got the oil and vinegar along with cutlery, while we were left with only the plain salad and no utensils. When we asked for them, we had to wait a few more minutes, and the olive oil was brought in disposable sachets instead of a bottle. It was obvious that the proper set had gone to the wrong table.

We also received kebabs in the durum option instead of the ordered “doner.” We mentioned this to the slightly confused waiter but decided to just eat what was served to avoid waiting even longer. The kebab itself was very disappointing – the chicken meat was completely unseasoned, the sauce tasted like sour cream, and the pita bread was cold and soggy.

We never got our coffees or baklava, and even paying the bill was an ordeal – despite 4 staff members being present, with one taking orders while the others were clearly just idling around, we had to wait over 10 minutes and finally managed to pay at the bar after asking twice.

Overall, a very poor experience. I do not recommend this place. I honestly have no idea how it has a 4.9...
