My experience at El Rancho de Javi was nothing short of spectacular! Every dish we sampled was a delight to the senses, ensuring a memorable dining adventure from start to finish.

We indulged in the Chuletón, a dish that showcased the chef’s mastery in balancing flavors and textures to create a truly delectable meat dish. The Tomatones in oil were another highlight, offering a burst of freshness and a sublime combination of flavors that left us wanting more. The restaurant is very nice, with an atrium that has nice light and views. The ambiance is pleasant with soft music. We’ve been twice. The artichokes are perfect. Chuletón, perfect. Merluza, good. The reason for 4 stars is that you need to be careful to ask about the prices of anything off menu. We ordered the setas off menu and they weren’t very good - they were apparently frozen because they were still cold on the inside of some of the mushrooms and were kind of slimy and unappetizing. We didn’t make a fuss about that because the other food we ordered was delicious. The bad taste came with the bill when the setas were €22! What a bad surprise. This is not a normal price for mushrooms unless they are magic mushrooms that send me on a trip to heaven. 😂 Anyway, the food is mostly great, but I’ll never order anything off menu again without asking for price because I can’t trust that I won’t feel cheated. There is no way to explain a plate of previously frozen (and still cold) mushrooms matching the price of their entrecot! Vaya chasco. Ya había estado tomando algo varias veces, siempre a gusto con esa terraza y el espacio que tienen que es un gusto...Hace unos días vino la familia y dijimos, venga, vamos al Rancho de Javi, que lo tenemos al lado y ponen buenas viandas. De primeras, aperitivo de boquerones rico, la comida rica, precios acordes al estilo del sitio y calidades...En principio, a gusto.

Croquetas bien, carnaza bien, piparras fritas (una sorpresa por que no las habíamos tomado nunca, y muy ricas, sorpresa también los 15€ de precio), pero vamos que detalles q no nos importaron, estábamos pasándolo bien y estábamos a gusto.

El final nunca lo esperamos, Javi se encargó personalmente de amargarnos la noche. Nunca había recibido una respuesta con tanta chulería y condescendencia como la que nos dio al decirle que en la carta no sale ese concepto de "Aperitivo y pan". Le dijimos que eso hay que avisarlo, y con todo su cuajo nos dice que eso es así en todos los restaurantes. Que tiene muchos gastos y que así es la cosa, que nos invita a chupitos si queremos.

He estado en cientos de restaurantes, cuando he criticado algo, me han respondido con amabilidad y respeto, si han tenido razón se la he dado, si no, me la han dado, pero esta persona, nos trató de tontos y encima nos coló los torreznos de la tapa como plato de torreznos (como se ve en otras reseñas, dicho por ellos, el aperitivo incluye torreznos),

El tipo, va y dice "que yo he estado trabajando en el Sala (Mítico de Guadarrama) y hacen lo mismo" y NO, en el Sala, en la carta te lo avisan, 2 y pico de aperitivo y pan o servicio (vamos, nos mientes a la cara con una sonrisa)

Desde el bar más cutre hasta el restaurante más "top" suelen avisarlo y de hecho si no lo ponen en carta y te quejas, no te lo cobran, por que saben que tienes razón.

Al parecer a Javi le sobran vecinos clientes y turistas, por que lo que es yo, no vuelvo a recomendar este sitio, y me chafa por que he estado muy a gusto otras veces, y lo he recomendado, y por una vez que tengo a la familia aquí, se amarga la cena. Supongo que he estado a gusto por que el equipo que hay es gente maja, atenta y hospitalaria.

Ahora seguramente, vendrá la respuesta plantilla que pone la consultora a la que han pagado para quemar el Kit Digital.

La experiencia de cliente es la clave para los negocios honestos y respetuosos, y en este caso, se demuestra como en 5 minutos una persona puede echar por tierra una experiencia de 2 horas.

Eso si, enhorabuena al equipo que nos atendió de lujo, por que si Javi es así con los clientes, cómo será con los empleados.
