La Bodega del Jazzbah — Restaurant in Ciutadella

A restaurant along the marina of Ciutadella in Menorca. Its neighbouring Jazzbah, a popular night spot. We opted for al fresco tables, and the amount of foot traffic along the small walkway didn't really bother us. The menu has options for vegetarian and they also have a good selection of seafood. They serve an interesting selection of fusion dishes; Spanish and other cuisine. We had the wagyu beef charcuterie with nuts, the umami was bursting, portion was big, the combo of flavour and portion made us struggle to finish it between the 4 of us. I highly recommend the mushroom dish and the artichoke risotto. We also got the cuttlefish couscous, but the flavour was a bit artificial (flavouring) to me. Price is on the high side compared to others...

Nuestro pedido tuvo que ser pedida dos veces porque el primero no escuchó nada a lo que pedimos, a pesar del retraso comparado con las mesas de al lado en llegar después de nosotros y de la pedida que se hizo dos veces, los platos llegan con un error . Hubo que pedir el pan dos veces para finalmente tenerlo después de terminar los platos. Un camarero viene a cobrarnos sin ni siquiera haber terminado los platos y el vino, no nos preguntan si queríamos postre, y tuvimos que cambiar dos veces el ticket porque también hubo errores.

Finalmente, mientras pago, uno de los camareros me derrama la copa de vino medio llena, no hay excusa, no nos trae papel toalla para limpiar.

Tuve el placer de cenar con 10 amigos en este restaurante y la experiencia fue simplemente espectacular. Desde el momento en que llegamos, nos sentimos bienvenidos por el ambiente acogedor y la atención excepcional del personal.

La ubicación es inmejorable: cenamos en el puerto, con vistas impresionantes a la muralla histórica y los barcos atracados. Este entorno mágico hizo que nuestra velada fuera aún más especial. La comida superó todas nuestras expectativas, con platos que combinan lo mejor de la cocina local con un toque moderno. Cada bocado fue una delicia, desde los entrantes hasta el postre.

Para completar la noche, tuvimos la suerte de poder disfrutar del mítico club Jazzbah, que está justo al lado. Fue el cierre perfecto para una noche inolvidable. La música, la atmósfera y la energía del lugar hicieron que siguiéramos disfrutando hasta altas horas.

Quiero destacar especialmente a Víctor, el dueño, y a su equipo, quienes nos trataron de lujo. Su dedicación y pasión se reflejan en cada detalle. La Bodeguita del Jazzbah y Jazzbah son, sin duda, un 'must' en tu viaje a Menorca. Nunca suelo escribir opiniones, pero esta vez se lo merecen de corazón. ¡Volveré...
