We had the pleasure of dining at Ottimo in Menorca, and I honestly can't understand what all the negative reviews are about. Despite arriving after their kitchen had closed, the staff were incredibly accommodating and welcomed us with open arms. They seated us immediately and made sure we had a great experience.
The food was decent. The wine selection was also top-notch, pairing perfectly with the meal. But beyond the food and drink, what really stood out was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel at home. We were greeted with smiles from the moment we walked in, which made all the difference.
Itâs rare to see such warmth and hospitality, especially when you arrive after hours. If youâre in Menorca and considering where to eat, donât let the bad reviews sway you. Ottimo offers great food, wine, and service, and Iâll definitely be coming back on...

We popped into Ottimo CafĂ© for a quick stop â just a slice of cake and a beer. The cake was tasty and the beer cold, but both were on the pricey side for such a simple order. That might have been fine if the service hadnât been so off-putting.
The waitress was noticeably rude â no greeting, no smile, and acted as though we were a nuisance. To top it off, the order came out wrong, and instead of fixing it with a simple apology, we were met with more attitude.
