La Compuerta — Restaurant in Comillas

First of all, they should get 5 stars just for having the kitchen open all day long. This in Spain is very rare. They waitress were very kind to us, always paying attention to the customers, not avoiding them as in most restaurants of the same range. The food was nothing special, not bad either, in fact, my dish, fries, egg and some other stuff was pretty good. The tomate salad was very good also (although a little bit salty). Irritating propper, insane prices. They didn't let us eat the menu of the day (del día casero) because they wanted us to pick the insane priced tapas menus. Don't come here if you want to be served in a nice manner. We ordered 8 big beers and the moment we said we didn't want anything to eat they wanted us to pay the bill immidiatly hasting us to drink our beers, what a disgrace. On the picture you can see the text underneath: "cita famosa". This roughly translates to them saying we were untruthfull customers with a bad attitude. Horrible...

Si me hubieran preguntado hace un mes q estuve la primera vez(17/7/22)le daría las 5 estrellas, pero hoy 21 de agosto no le invito a nadie a dirigirse a este establecimiento y les cuento. Había que hacer cola para coger mesa….. y se hizo Hubo q esperar 45’……. Y se hizo Cuando nos llegó el turno ya no quedaba Menú y eran las 15:20, nos dice la camarera que escogamos de la carta que tampoco sale tan caro…… Pedimos pulpo y observen la fotografía y juzguen. Era pulpo al Laser

Por lo demás el trato que estaba recibiendo el resto de comensales dispuestos a esperar era denigrante, tienen un camarero q es criminólogo y ofrecía a la gente a echarlos o llamar ala policia aludiendo al Derecho de Admisión

La desorganización a la hora de atender a la clientela merece un párrafo a parte: Grupo de adolescentes 7 para ser exactos, esperan mucho tiempo, pero, llega un grupo de gente de afuera que son unos jetas y se les cuelan por q se sientan en la primera mesa que ven libre y nadie les dice nada….. Por otro lado un cliente estuvo esperando 30’ a q le trajeran la cuenta, ante tanta espera se disponía a irse sin abonar la cuenta, cosa q al final no sucedió

Sé q criticar a los empleados seria algo sencillo y fácil pero no se puede tener un camarero tán gracioso cuando la gente q esta esperando se le...
