Restaurante Taj Mahal Conil — Restaurant in Conil de la Frontera

Poppadoms were on the house which was a great start to my evening, only downside was the lack of pickles, otherwise a nice touch.. The starter of Sheek kebab was superb, came on a hot sizzling pate and didn't disappoint 👌. We had garlic chilli chicken, it's an indian/Chinese type curry which was very tasty and filling, The other dish was the famous Birmingham Prawn Balti which definitely didn't disappoint 😋 with sides of onion rice and a knockout cheese and garlic naan, again what wonderful food... When we back in Conil, I'd definitely make a beeline to this curry house, cheers for the service and friendly chat afterwards.. see you soon guts, wonderful family..🇮🇳

Nuestra primera experiencia en un restaurante hindú, y nos pareció maravilloso.

El local es amplio, con mesas en el interior, y en la terracita. El lugar goza de un ambiente muy acogedor. La terracita es de tarimas, y es accesible para silla de ruedas.

Por dentro el local está decorado y es precioso.

La atención de los camareros es exquisita, tuvieron mucha paciencia, además dominan varios idiomas.

Para picar, te ofrecen el pan de lentejas con 3 cuencos pequeños para mojar. Las salsas son buenísimas para tapear un poco mientras llega la comida.

Luego pedimos unos naan de queso, y de mantequilla, para acompañar los platos principales: Murg Mango, que estaba súper suave y delicioso (no lleva picante) y también un plato de pollo en salsa jafrazi (este si lleva picante pero es tolerable).

Tienen además menús infantiles para que si cenas con niños, puedan comer cosas sin picante y puedan los papás disfrutar de la carta.

En nuestro caso, 1 comensal es alérgico al coco y no tuvieron inconveniente en adaptar alguna receta para que pudiéramos cenar sin peligro.

De postre, pedimos Kulfi de Mango, Kulfi de pistacho (helado), y Gulab Jamun (unas bolas hechas de dulce, empapadas en leche, fritas y luego regadas en un caldo de miel y agua de rosas. Es un postre caliente).

Ha sido probablemente la mejor experiencia culinaria que mi familia y yo hemos tenido en nuestras vacaciones en Conil, y recomiendo a todo el mundo comer o cenar aquí.

El trato del personal es excelente...
