Nice location, good food, but the service isn’t great.

The atmosphere is good and a lovely location overlooking the marina from the roof terrace.

The menu looks good, with many options from fish till really good beef. Many dishes with show elements, with some live finishing touch/cooking next to your table. We had the the chateaubriand, which was really good.

But as said, the service isn’t what you expect from a restaurant like this with these prices. We were keen to give a higher rating but unfortunately they should train their staff better. We received some bread with toppings, but no spoons with it. Then it took forever until someone showed up to ask what we want for main course. No excuses or whatsoever. Thereafter we got a mini mango sorbet, but have been put on the table without any attention.

We asked for a good wine to drink with our chateaubriand, it was absolutely a good one. But would be nice if the crew had more knowledge about the wines and could have tell us more about the particular wines. Then the show started, with the live cooking. She did a great job and it did taste very well, one we finished the first part. We asked for the second part, one of the colleagues took the meat and almost put it on our plate…. Raw . He had no idea of what was going on, probably his first day. So no worries ! Could happen. Then a different colleague came over and with a grumpy face she prepared the meat as soon as possible. This didn’t Feel right, a bit more love for the food and guests would have been right.

Once finished we ordered with the same girl our dessert. We got the feeling that we had to hurry up and go home.

I sincerely hope that the service and knowledge...

We had made reservations for the 4 of us which included my 87 year old mom. It was very windy last night and it took some convincing to open up the glass doors so we could sit inside. It's not easy to eat and hold your glasses at the same time. We ordered individually and it so happened that my mom and I ordered the same menu - lachs - and my uncle and aunt also ordered the same menu - wiener schnitzel but all of us had different side dishes. In addition my uncle and I each ordered a spinach salad to start with.

The food came very quickly but only one order of lachs and one order of the wiener schnitzel. We finished our salads and waited for our orders to arrive. We then found out that the waiter only ordered one each. Instead of apologizing he argued with us what we had ordered. So we had to re-order and wait. In the meantime our side dishes got cold and were never replaced.

Interesting enough when I ordered the lachs I was asked how I wanted it cooked - medium or slightly pink. Lol. We told him that this was lachs and not meat - he insisted the kitchen needed to know.

The food wasn't that special - we expected more and the service was terrible. Yes we got an apology later and were offered dessert on the house, however the "sour" taste of this...

Well after 3 yrs we tried the Lounge again for lunch today this time the food was the issue. We thought we should give them another try but wish we hadn't, it was empty should have guessed why. Mejillones to start fine. However the shared main of Pica Pica inedible. The focaccia was burnt, the gambas batter too and prawns inside that even a knife would not cut through. No fried boquerones to be seen and the croquettes a bizarre bright yellow mush inside. The rest totally inedible, all overcooked. We complained and were offered one desert to compensate, we were approached later on and offered two deserts but declined as we wanted savoury not a sweet as still hungry. Even more annoying was a waiter who whilst we were trying to enjoy the last of our wine at least, kept asking todo bien, aargh.We paid up and left, a lesson learnt to walk on past in future, we definitely will not return this time. 3yr ago:-Terrible service. Left without our desert which the manageress forgot to order then denied. Lobster and lamb very good but poor front of house service let the great food down. Will post on trip advisor more detail of poor customer service throughout a birthday meal. Locals so plenty more choices in the marina who value...
