We visited for an early dinner back in June. It seemed that the venue had hosted a party earlier that day as the whole restaurant was pretty dirty (napkins and bits of food on the floor, loads of plastic cups in the pool) and there were lots of people who appeared to be staff, but who took absolutely zero interest in serving my group of four even though we were the only patrons at the time. We eventually got seated and ordered, then waited over 15 minutes for our drinks - two beers and two Aperol spritz - despite the restaurant being empty. We ordered food which arrived after a reasonable wait, and the positives end there. The “patatas bravas” was a plate of crisps with aioli on top, served with a pot of strangely viscous burger sauce that had never been even briefly acquainted with a tomato. The croquettes we ordered were actually fine, although we ordered 4 and were served 3.

When the mains arrived, things went from bad to worse. The burger was only lightly cooked - which would be fine if this were a premium burger with high meat content, but distinctly unappetising when it’s a cheap processed patty. The chips can only be described as rock hard as can be seen in the picture - I’ve no idea how potatoes could be so mistreated and I hope to never encounter them again. It was like they’d been scraped off someone else’s plate and re-fried. The burger contained the exact same sauce that we’d been served with the “patatas bravas”, and also featured arugula that had been deep fried into a greasy tangle.

The rest of the table ordered rice dishes. My cod and chickpea rice contained absolutely zero chickpeas - I assume the kitchen simply forgot to add them - and the seafood dish was filled with unidentifiable gelatinous lumps that meant it was completely inedible. The vegetable rice was at least as ordered, but all three dishes were so incredibly salty it was like drinking seawater.

One other couple came into the restaurant while we were eating and received the same lukewarm service from staff, and throughout our meal from our table next to the pool we were able to watch the staff cleaning the pool and pulling endless plastic cups and balloons from the filter.

We paid and left as quickly as possible. This was possibly the strangest dining experience I’ve ever had and I would recommend the chef considers an alternative line of work, along with the...

Great for drinks. Food was interesting, but I won't eat the again. Explained about the assorted fish plate. Being two choices of, no one really knows. I was expecting fresh fish as we are by the ocean. It was not fresh anything! Mussels come in a can! Hmm, yes a can!. Steak was ok,but cut into strips like you would do for a child. Again, atmosphere, location and drinks all fine, more expensive than it's neighbours. But next time I will utilize the pool. One great female server, other was brain dead! Maybe bored with lack of work because...
