This restaurant has a reputation to live up to, so you arrive with high expectations. As a place that offers high-end table service and fine dining it serves very well. Expect a queue at 8.30pm when door opens for evening service. We had made a reservation the day before and were immediately checked off and escorted to our table. Be aware the restaurant has several seating zones and to be honest we felt we had been seated in the “ overflow section” unlike the other rooms that had a more intimate, welcoming ambience this room was super bright. Stark lighting. It lacked the eclectic decoration and historical photos that decorated the other rooms. It l was the major negative in terms of the overall experience. Food ordering was efficient, if somewhat slow at times, but hey, it’s Spain, so despacio is the attitude. Don’t mind that. We ordered cheese, the ubiquitous tortilla camarones ( shrimp batter fritters) followed by cod in tempura , light and delicious . Good cheese, aged and punchy with quince preserve. Mains were the young steak, a fairly lean portion with potatos, and the oxtail stew with potato chips. Oxtail was amazingly tender and super rich velvety sauce. With wine, bread and the offering of a carrot amuse bouche the bill was £124. I would return but prefer the buzzing atmosphere of the bat to the formality and bright light of the restaurant. You can just turn up to eat in the bar . All my own opinions here. Overall I rated it 4* as felt had to try it out by tv other places had a more authentic vibe. ,

Our lunch at this fancy restaurant was truly delightful. The food was amazing overall, and the service was exceptionally attentive. The restaurant’s beautiful decor creates a wonderful ambiance, perfect for a quiet and sophisticated dining experience. It’s evident that their clientele consists of educated individuals, making it an ideal choice for business meals. However, it’s worth noting that the fideuà was not quite what we expected, as its taste differed from what I’ve tried in Catalonia. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience in an elegant setting.

We had a wonderful dinner experience in this restaurant. Special thanks to Raphaël who made this dinner very special for us. He is so experienced and helped us to choose the best for us of the menu. a very very special thanks to chef Fernando Córdoba who helped to choose perfect infusions which combined perfectly with my dinner, since I didn’t want to drink wine. We had a wonderful evening in a beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere, good quality of fresh food, great wines. And Very helpful and nice staff. We certainly recommend this restaurant.
