So this place is the only Mexican restaurant in the Elda-Petrer area and, according to the owner the first Mexican restaurant in all of Spain. The prices are very reasonable and the interior was super cool with Mexican art and murals on all the walls. It lost a star because I consumed the worst burrito norteño I've ever had at this restaurant. It was a spicy burrito that only tasted of chilies and no other flavours. This was odd to me and I've had much better elsewhere. I also took away the star because the ceviche seemed like low grade shredded crab meat with lemon juice sprinkled on it. The Good The Bad and The Ugly The Good Tasty food The Bad Tiny portion sizes for the price, 10 Euros for two 5 inch tacos and a couple of spoons of Guacamole. The Ugly While we were eating the owner brought out an iron and started ironing in the dining room!! Leant over while we were eating constantly to remove items without speaking. Finally when he asked if we had enjoyed the meal we said the food was tasty but very small portion sizes. To which he took great offence and started shouting and becoming very aggressive! ….. and we wondered why it was empty when the reviews...

Pues hemos salido un poco decepcionados de este restaurante en el que teníamos mucha fe puesta... De mano la primera sorpresa la hemos tenido con los precios, pues los que aparecen el folleto que te dejan en el coche son diferentes a los del restaurante.

No entiendo muy bien porque es mas caro si comes allí que si te lo llevan a casa... Pizzerías, burguer's, todos los chinos del pueblo, todos los kebabs, cobran lo mismo en el local que a domicilio. Entiendo que el servicio de mesa cuesta un dinero, pero supongo que el sueldo del repartidor y la gasolina de la moto no crecerá en los arboles. ¿Será que todos los locales que sirven a domicilio se equivocan y el Pollo Loco son los únicos que realmente entienden el negocio?

Total que hemos pedido unos nachos, algunas quesadillas y hemos pagado 34 euros... Por menos dinero podríamos comer mucho mejor de menú en cualquier restaurante de la gran avenida... Me han decepcionado los nachos (si alguna vez podéis ir al Chester en La Marina, veréis lo que son unos nachos de verdad... 4 veces mas cantidad, sabor infinitamente mejor y al mismo precio), que a mí parecer eran muy escasos. Una lastima... Quizás para pedir para casa pueda estar bien... Pero no creo que vuelva más. Aún así, los señores que nos atendieron fueron muy simpáticos... Pero el precio es una locura (creo que no soy el único que se ha quejado del precio). Añado una nota más... Por las respuestas que he visto a las críticas negativas a otras personas, puedo apreciar que el responsable es muy prepotente...
