Cafeteria Caribe — Restaurant in Elx / Elche

Never again. I arrived there at 14:30 and saw that the closing time was 15:00. I entered and saw all the food already packed to go to the fridge. I asked whether I could have a tapa of Murcian salad and a beer without alcohol. After being reminded that they were about to close (30 minutes before the indicated time) I was served at the counter a very small portion of salad (with very strong onion) in a little saucer, slightly larger than those for coffee, but without bread, even though that salad is called ‘mojete’ and you need bread to taste the broth. I left asap after paying 6€ (3,50 for the minuscule salad and 2,50 for the beer). My wife and I stopped for a drink as we're staying in La Marina. Thank you to the larger, older waitress for staring stone-faced and trying to humiliate me as I attempted to order 'una pinta'. Apparently, looking at other reviews, this is not an uncommon experience. I dont care if you don't enjoy your job- it's not cool. However, the beer was lovely and cold, which matched the service. The wine needed a cube of ice. The football was enjoyable- Go Elche!! We didn't dare attempt...

Este restaurante de brunch se ha convertido en mi lugar favorito para comenzar el fin de semana. Lo he visitado en numerosas ocasiones, y cada vez, la experiencia ha sido espectacular. La comida es consistentemente deliciosa, con ingredientes frescos y sabores bien equilibrados. Me encanta su selección de platillos, desde los clásicos hasta opciones más creativas.

Pero lo que realmente destaca es el servicio. Todo el personal es increíblemente atento y amable. Quiero hacer una mención especial a Sara, quien se ha convertido en un rostro familiar para mí. Siempre tiene una sonrisa, y a pesar de la cantidad de clientes, se acuerda de mis preferencias. Sara es una chica morena que lleva gafas y su atención al detalle es excepcional. Siempre se asegura de que mi café esté lleno y de que tenga todo lo que necesito.

Es gracias a personas como ella que este lugar no solo sirve buena comida, sino que también crea un ambiente cálido y acogedor. Estoy muy agradecido por la calidad del servicio y la comida, y continuaré regresando cada...
