Puerto Dips — Restaurant in es Castell

Wile viewing the great choice options on the large menu display boards attached to the outside of the building ,a member of staff popped out with a sample tray offering to taste nachos with a homemade parmesan & chive dip .As the chap returned back inside(no pushing you to take a table either )& left me to enjoy the delightful snack which I was impressed with, I then decided to ask about a table for two.There's seating options inside but I opted for an outside table on warm evening on the terrace which is located directly across the road The paved area has around 10 tables dedicated to Puerto dips but a bit further back are more tables which belong to the pizza business on the opposite side of the road.The young staff on duty were very pleasant providing excellent table service during the evening & spoke very good english too.. We decided on nachos with a couple of dips ,(Mexican,paramesan & chives )to share along with a couple of small beers.The nachos were plentiful alongside good portion size dips.We decided to share a wrap with berries for dessert,which was very nice indeed, washed down with a couple more beers .Cash or card payments are accepted. This was a very enjoyable 1st time experience in a low key setting .I would definitely recommend a visit here & hopefully return back...

It was ok, but wouldn’t go back.

Food was nice on the whole but the chicken in the schnitzels was an odd colour. I’m sure it was cooked as it’s too thin not to be in a schnitzel and perhaps was due to marinade. Either way, a little bit off putting.

Service was quick but not particularly friendly.

Nice enough setting but not if you’re sat in the middle of the street.

Goes from strength to strength with some new menu items including Argentinian empanadas (little meat pies/pasties) but they do contain egg, and a few other new things.
