La Bella Napoli is a real gem of a place and not one you might find if only staying in resort centre. Itcan be easily found by walking the length of the wooden walkway, going up past the S'arenal restaurant and walk up the pine groves for about 5 mins and there it is on the left by a supermarket.
This is a very rustic place and first thing we spotted were huge pizzas covered in amazing looking ingredients, whole large black olives, large mussels and prawns etc so we had a good feeling about this place.
This place was being operated by one person front of house, a lovely Spanish lady who had very basic English but we muddled through.
As well as tables inside and outside on the pavement there are also tables on some raised ecking across the road as well.
We sat down at one table which was directly behind the tables on the pavement and started to peruse the menu, which wasn't too big but had a very good selection of meat, fish, pasta and pizza dishes.
We ordered a garlic bread pizza to share to start and this was a huge dinner plate size item which was served with very thin crust but extremely tasty and was priced at €7.
Main courses were mussels in their own sauce and at €10 were an absolute bargain as they were huge and loads of them in a large bowl. Joshua also ordered a portion of chips which were priced at €4.50 so a bit on the high side.
2 x Bella Napoli pizza's were ordered which wcame prawns and different cheeses and veg and again these were huge and €10 each.
I ordered the Calamari Andaluza and salad which was amazing. A huge plate of fried calamari rings in batter and a very tasty salad with fresh artichoke. This is one of the best plates of Calamari I have eaten in a long time and priced at €12 was a bargain. Drinks were same prices as previous places, €2 each for sprite and come and €3.20 for a pint of lager.
So we had the best meal so far since arriving and the total bill came to £66.70 which was a real bargain for what we ate.
The food was served very quickly, all freshly prepared to order, extremely tasty and the lady serving us was a very ameniable host.
So all in all an excellent dining experience and would we go back? Definitely, as they had some amazing looking steaks and other goodies that I think we shall pay them at least one more visit.
What was also very nice was the walk back along the beach on the wooden walkway, a very nice finish to the whole evening.
Definitely worth taking the time to drive there or walk...
Read moreThis restaurant is a lovely, delicious little hidden gem just off the beach. It needs to be advertised better than a pizza restaurant as we chose different on the menu . Prawns were exceptional and everything you could wish for on holiday, the gnocchi with salmon and rocket was the best I've ever tasted , friendly relaxed atmosphere and very reasonably priced . Would highly recommend a visit when you visit . Owners should advertise menu better on boards close to beach so people can plan to visit instead of simply passing by . 5 stars to the chef , food was exceptionally fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend to people much more than other restaurants on the beach...
Read moreOne of our favourite restaurants in Menorca. We have eaten in and taken away from here and the food has been amazing everytime. As a pizza lover, I can easily say the 'Star' pizza on the menu is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The other pizzas that the rest of my family had were equally good. Other options on the menu were really good. We had the kebab wraps, steak entrecote, calzone, hawaiian chicken and kids pasta and chicken nugget meals. All meals I would have again. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and made it an enjoyable...
