Finding vegetarian options in Mallorca can sometimes feel like a treasure hunt, but at Mar Blava, we stumbled upon a hidden gem! While their menu might not be predominantly vegetarian, the staff went above and beyond to help me find a delicious meat-free option.
Lifesaver Service:
Initially, I wasn't sure if there were any vegetarian options available. The staff, however, were incredibly friendly and attentive. They took the time to understand my dietary needs and helped me navigate the menu, ultimately recommending a fantastic veggie burger. The Veggie Burger Triumph:
Let me tell you, this veggie burger was no afterthought! It was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The patty itself was satisfying and didn't crumble like some veggie burgers can. Plus points for the fresh toppings! Crispy Companions:
No burger is complete without fries, and Mar Blava's did not disappoint. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside – just the way fries should be! Overall:
Mar Blava Mallorca might not be the first place you think of for vegetarian options, but their helpful staff and delicious veggie burger make it a worthy contender. The fries were a delightful bonus!

Read moreWe visited Sa Calobra today after arriving by boat from Sóller, as part of a day tour. During our stop, we had some time to grab lunch. Since it’s such a remote place, most restaurants looked quite overpriced and not very appealing at first. Out of the few options available, Mar Blava stood out. The food looked better than the others, so we decided to give it a try, and wow, we were pleasantly surprised! We had the fried fish with fries and vegetables, and a breaded steak with the same sides. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful and way better than expected. What impressed me the most was how they seem to cook in small batches, only restocking as dishes sell out. That probably explains why everything tasted so fresh. And the vegetables? Absolutely delicious. I should have asked for the recipe. Even my son, who usually avoids veggies, ate everything. That says a lot. Yes, prices are high, but considering how hard it is to reach this location, it makes sense. The presentation and photos outside the restaurant could definitely use some work, but honestly, the food quality and the kindness of the staff made up for it completely. I’d happily eat...
Read moreIf there were an option to give negative stars, I would. This restaurant is an absolute disaster. The view is the only remotely tolerable aspect, but it can't begin to compensate for the sheer awfulness of everything else. The food is a rip-off, with prices that would be laughable if they weren't so infuriating, for what is essentially reheated frozen fish and tasteless, soggy vegetables. The taste is repulsive. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place; it's a complete waste of time and money. An option would be to bring your own food, as every other place here is just as terrible. There is no...
