Bar sa Tanca — Restaurant in Estellencs

Looked like a lovely place from the outside but a notice in the door said back at 6:30. We returned to order tapas and drinks at 6:30. When we asked what the different tapas options were the man who runs the place was very impatient and rude and said for F*sake in Spanish because we were asking questions about the food options. I’d already placed drink orders but cancelled our order there and then and left. Would give this place no stars if that was an option!! And we didn’t even eat or drink there. I noticed similar reviews when scrolling through about the staff being rude before I posted this, just to see if anyone else had had a similar experience. I really dislike having to post a bad review, as this is the first time I’ve ever posted anything, but after our experience, I feel the need to make the owner aware that they need to treat potential customers with respect, even if they don’t speak Spanish that well. Please avoid ! I know many have reviewed 5 stars, yet this is one of the worst place I have been. I don’t know if it changed with time, or maybe tourists are enjoying so they don’t bother but we have been received very badly by the team, the food is simply frozen and not worked at all, it’s plain and without effort, and their prices are just not worth at all.

The waitress literally was annoyed that we ordered only water and a small beer as we are not drinkers really. It’s such a shame cause the place is beautiful and the village is magnificent but I guess this is not for...

During my stay on Mallorca I guess this is the place where I spent most of the times to have dinner. A really nice and typically spanish (mallorquin) atmosphere and spirit. I tried every day a different dish and was every time overwhelmed of the quality of the food.
