Bar Don Reinaldo — Restaurant in Estepona

I am writing to share my experience at your establishment, which was deeply upsetting and unprofessional.

Upon receiving my initial cocktail, I noticed that the dried fruit garnish contained maggots. The staff apologized and replaced the drink, stating it would be complimentary. However, the situation quickly deteriorated.

Shortly after, a staff member approached my partner and me, accusing us of stealing straws without any evidence. The staff member was dismissive and repeated the accusation despite our denials. The unprofessional conduct continued when our waiter, while presenting the bill, stated that if we were to take straws in the future, it would be a charge of €5 each.

We were falsely accused of theft multiple times, which is not only disrespectful but also a serious breach of customer trust. This baseless accusation was particularly upsetting. The complete lack of professionalism and the staff's behavior were unacceptable and ruined what should have been an...

The new boy on the block, the Bar Don Reinaldo is becoming popular.

It is situated on the Section of the Calle Real which goes from the Calle Terraza to the Plazoleta Ortiz. This means, for starters, that you have both a paper shop and a kiosk to buy newspapers and magazines - including in several foreign languages (by this I mean not Spanish) - to read while you sip.

It is not a bar for breakfast, but most certainly one for pre-lunch aperitivo, lunch itself based on an attractive menu, then whatever you fancy mid-afternoon, another aperitivo before your dinner, then wine, beer and copas (hard liquor) until the small hours.
