Sadly, we chose thus restaurant for its promised menu of good food. So, I can't say the food was bad firstly. But, it's what happened that was unsatisfactory. This was our last evening in estepona. We walked along a very pretty street with lots if pretty lights and decided on here because of hiw it looked. So we ordered wine, nice. Served well. Next a man walked to us suggesting the fish if the day which we thought was lovely. We had started, great. Fish arrived, waiter looked very skilled at taking the salt crust off the seabass, I said to him it wasn't cooked, he carried on serving, I said it wasn't cooked.....it wad showing blood against the bones! I said again its not cooked please take it back. He did very reluctantly with an attitude! At rhus point our vegetables had been put on our table. I asked a waitress to take them away as we chanted everything seved together. Please remember, this is notca cheap night. The fish wad brought back to us, definitely better, it was then served to us. Please note, they did not give a clean plate from the first serve. The vegetables were returned to our table.i have to say the fish wad now super but the attitude of the original server was" here in Spain we hace fish snd neat seved rare" . We live here in Spain, we work herebin Spain, we speak Spanish......he assumed incorrectly that we were British on holiday, which we are, as we actually live in Almería, but we heard every derogatory comment and he actually should have shut up and got on with serving us and not providing his opinion or he should have paid!! Then to top it all we saw three waiters with brooms moving fridges and freezers to get a rat in the kitchen, when they got it grey killed it with the broom and picked it up with a serviette and took it outside. We had clear view if this and not one of them washed their hands. We paid 94.96€ for this. A very sad last evening. Its not like we are made if money so our well earned Spanish money went on a restaurant that appeared to offer top notch. A footnote to this is, we have sea bass regularly and the waiter tried to hoodwink us,...

A large, bright restaurant with plenty of seating inside and in a sheltered, heated area outside. We booked a table for Sunday evening, but it wasn’t necessary as they were quiet. Service was friendly asking if we wanted the heater switched on, it was a mild night (to us) so declined.
The menu is totally Spanish and biassed to Seafood and Fish with a short list for the carnivores.
As with most restaurants, thay immediately ask you for the drinks order before you have picked up the wine list. As it was they had a totally acceptable Albariño for a very reasonable €16.
We chose Langostinos Pil Pil to share as our starter at a reasonable €11. Lots of prawns, garlic and hot with dried chili’s. Not very health conscious with all the oil but delicious nonetheless.
My wife chose Rosada Plancha as she avoids fish bones with a vengeance, served with a selection of vegetables and Patatas Panaderas €14
I choose the Merluza Al Horno, a very nice steak of Hake with garlic baked on the bone served with Patatas Panaderas €16. The total bill with a bottle of water and the usual service added bread at €1.60 each (which we have no problem with) came to €62.20. As mentioned by other reviewers you are given a small complementary Gin Tonic at the end, a very nice evening dinner at a reasonable price.
However, a few negative points where the restaurant could have done better. The food is served on cold plates so your food cools quickly, also there is a total lack of seasoning on the fish. We had to replenish the wine glasses ourselves, no one asked if we were enjoying our meal, the waiting staff just disappeared and didn’t come back until we asked for the bill. No one invited us to order a Coffee or Postre even though we sat for quite a time while finishing our wine. The lack of attentive staff is not conducive with an expected excellent restaurant and spoiled what was a very...
Read moreWe saw this Restaurant a week before whilst walking through Estepona & noticed is was completely FULL with every table taken. We booked a table for 3 people on Friday 12th June at 20.30 & we were seated at a lovely table with a proper linen table cloth & nice big wine glasses. We ordered starters of Red Tuna Tataki, Red Tuna Tartare & Green Asparagus topped with Bellota Ham & Cheese. 2 beers, still water & a bottle of chilled Verdejo arrived immediately before the order had been fully taken. For main course we ordered Roasted Octopus Leg with a Sweet Potato & Black Truffle Mash, a Grilled Octopus Leg & the Fillet of Beef cooked in a "Sarten". Both of the Tuna starters were the best we have EVER eaten & the Asparagus was huge, succulent & cooked to perfection. The staff were VERY attentive & taking care of everyone on the now full terrace at lightning speed. The Fillet of Beef (cooked to perfection) arrived having been cooked & served in "Sarten" with a Lemon & Garlic sauce covered in large Home-Made Chips. Both Octopus Legs were moist, tender & a very good size. Wanting to see if the Home-Made Deserts were as good as the first 2 courses, we ordered a Baked Cheescake with a Summer Fruit Compote, a Mango Mouse & a Mille Feuille, all of which were FANTASTIC & very fresh. The bill was requested & immediately, 3 "On the House" Mini Gin & Tonics were brought to the table followed by the bill. Surprisingly, all of the above, including the OUTSTANDING Service we received, was just 139€. We will DEFINATELY be returning to sample some of their other Wonderful Dishes on the vast menu with it´s many choices. WELL DONE...
