Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Cabana Restaurant

Cabana is without doubt one of the best dining experiences in Estepona. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere makes you feel special – stylish yet relaxed, with a warm and personal welcome from the staff.

The food is exceptional – every dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the chef. Portions are generous without losing finesse, and each plate feels like a piece of art.

We booked a table last night. I arrived with my son as we took a nap, over-slept and wanted somewhere quite close to where we were.

The Thai food that they have on the menu is the worst I have ever encountered. I asked for chopsticks and the server said “we do not have any.” If you are going to serve Asian food, at least authenticate by serving the correct tools?! But there wasn’t anything authentic with the Asian choices they provided and most food was left. The Thai beef salad looked ropey and had seen “better days”.

The singer they had, was terrible and not in tune and quite a distraction, whilst eating.

Begrudgingly, I left a sub-par tip. The service was passive-aggressive, with the waitress; ushering us to leave after ordering another glass of wine. I felt the whole experience to be very uneasy and unpleasant. Wished we had gone to Masala, as we have been going there for years but wanted to try...

Had three meals at Cabana during a weeks stay in Estepona. The first was a Sunday lunch time, and the spicy chilli chicken was amazing with all the fresh coriander and a taste sensation. We went back a few days later and tried the lunch menu at 14.99 Euros for starter, main and desert or coffee and with a drink included. This too was fantastic, my partner went for a vegetable pad thai and said it was the best meal of the holiday; I had the fish and chips which were beautifully presented and really tasty - and the value for money was exceptional (less than 40 Euros all in with extra drinks & water). The last meal, on our last night left me with slightly mixed feelings. I went for the spicy chilli chicken again and it was not as good as the first time, I should have perhaps tried something else on the menu; but my partner was really happy with her meal so I cannot justify altering my score.
