The Robin Hood Inn — Restaurant in Estepona

After a busy Sunday morning my daughter, friend and I decided to go for Sunday lunch......big mistake! After a few minor politeness issues from staff we proceeded to order our food. Bread and butter arrived....the butter was off and after mentioning this I was told 'no it's not, we've always used that supplier' (?), needless to say it was still off even after that amazing comeback! Moving on my daughter and I had the prawn starter, huge mistake!!!! 'Roast beef' or rather wafer thin ready sliced supermarket rubbish was served and we ploughed through that as we were more than hungry! On arriving home my daughter and I were so sick you can't believe! Vomiting, fever and of course the other. I called the restaurant to let them know and the reply was 'ah sorry, the prawns were a little smelly!' What????!!!!!! I'm feeling a little better today, although lightheaded. My daughter however is on a drip to rehydrate her...... Disgusting place,...

We have been visiting The Robin Hood every Christmas Eve for 4 years now and had become a bit of a tradition. Unfortunately this year we felt very let down by the staff. After specifically specifying that we wanted seats for about 16 people outside, when we arrived, we were told that the staff had arranged 3 tables inside, exactly not what we wanted. The staff did eventually try to help after we complained but as there we already people sat outside, our group was spread out over 3 areas. Kind of ruined the day because as more and more of our party turned up, we had to let them know that they were to sit miles away from us. Don't think we will be returning next year, tradition now broken. Also, several of the beers were off and tasted like vinegar and when we complained, the beer was not replaced. Poor show overall. Dropped from a solid 4 star to a 2...

I gave The Robin Hood Inn a second chance after a previous visit where, despite the long wait time and lack of proper air conditioning, the food was at least tasty.

Unfortunately, this time was a big disappointment. The food quality was poor — the meat was inconsistently cooked, with some parts underdone and others overcooked, and the octopus was rubbery and unpleasant. We have left our dinner unfinished. Even worse, the waiting time was extreme: we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes just to get our meals, and after asking for the bill, we had to wait another 40 minutes to receive it.
