Response to "owner" reply as I seem to have struck a VERY sensitive nerve: I didn't ask for medium rare, it was a ribeye, as an ex chef and restaurateur myself I'm fully aware of how I enjoy various cuts - yours was poor quality. As for asking me if I wanted to swap it, check your CCTV, you and I both know that's untrue don't we. You I called you over as it was blue, you said "oh, you want it cooked more?" I replied with "yes please" which was a mistake, I was being polite, I should have said "no, I wanted chef to cook it as I requested - medium well, it's a ribeye which the nature of the cut means that it has more fat marbled through it which I love as when rendered down it adds to the taste - not unlike a skirt steak". Also, having started my career in the F&B industry years ago (having owned and ran many many restaurants over the years) I was firstly a cocktail bartender. It was an unusual drink and I think I've come across brown sugar once or twice bless you but that wasn't the worst part of the experience. My son's pasta was fantastic however, he genuinely loved it, 10/10 actually, but you're primarily a meat restaurant, the clue is in the name, well done for the pasta - good for you. Your personal insults and critique of the "other" restaurant mentioning frozen and burned meat say it all, as does the fact that you have chosen not to address the "mistake" on the bill that you immediately knew about without being told..... Other people love your place, I don't because when I went my meat was poor. Toughen up, mistakes happen and you don't get it right all of the time, like you didn't with me - it happens in catering as you should know.
Overrated in my opinion. Extremely poor quality meat on my visit (my fiance's was mediocre at best). I went for what should have been a beautiful, aged piece of ribeye. What came was barely edible, in fact I sent it back for being undercooked (I asked for medium well, it came out blue), it came back, cooked more but just a terrible piece of meat, really bad. I barely ate any of it. I have eaten a lot of steaks in Estepona (we live here), this is by far the worst one I've had in years and years, let alone in Estepona. Staff friendly however attempted to put an extra steak on the bill until they saw my face drop. She came over immediately and said (without me saying why I looked so shocked) "there's an extra steak on there that shouldn't be, I'll take it off". She knew immediately without being told, we all know what that says?! Lovely interior, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, meat absolutely horrible and the billing "mistake" give it 1 star for me. I note they refer to 5* but don’t be fooled, that is a Google system not an acknowledged restaurant quality rating.
It’s a bistro with food mostly available on the pavements front and rear alley and a small eating area inside.
The chef is pretty good but quality varies a lot especially the meat. Prices are too high overall.
I have had the salmon 3 times and it’s not a difficult dish with a bowl of mixed vegetables. No complaints about those but €26 is high for a fish skewer and a bowl of vegetables.
I won’t be returning due to dishonesty and if you don’t know where to get a good meal and are on holiday you may feel inflated prices are reasonable.
Diners beware, you are not fine dining.

The food was great but the red wine was far too hot and we had to ask for an ice bucket.
The bill for no explicit reason was charged in GBP not Euros so I am in the process of trying to get my additional charges back.
