In a short time Kwanthai has become our favorite restuarant where we eat at least once a week. The food is of a high standard, the service friendly and the restaurant and kitchen crystal clear. The owners are a young couple who are both passionate about well prepared and presented delicious dishes, as a master chef I appreciate that very much. The prices are reasonable and you get what you pay for, the danger now is that I will come across as too enthusiastic and everyone will visit this fantastic restaurant at the same time. On top of that, the portion of rice was extremely small and not enough for one serving, so we had to order an extra portion. To make matters worse, one portion costs €3, so in the end, we paid €9 just for rice. That’s absolutely unacceptable. During my month living in El Paraiso early this year, I regularly have dinner here everyday, and I never got tired of the taste!
